Mommy's Grumpy Morning

I must admit today did not start off so great. I was very grumpy by 10:00 and decided to turn around the day with some humor.  Thankfully it worked!  I used my very grumpy voice and told the kids to "Get in here and get ready to watch this school video I found."  With out question they came and sat down.  They didn't even ask what the video was about.

I didn't realize until later on that the video I had chosen was not in English.  :)  It didn't matter to the kids at all!  Here is the first video I choose for them. http://youtu.be/dtwoiwYxg9Y  They continued to watch a few more.  They (like their mom) love the little naughty dino baby.

Gingerbread Easter Barn

Well we never got to our gingerbread barn during Christmas so I thought why not do an Easter Barn!  It was so laid back and a fun thing to do today!  Our Easter barn  had eight chickens (just like us) and a bossy one on top that the kids call blue foot.   The boss was worried when he saw we had added in bunnies.  He was really hoping this was not a sign of more animals to join our "family farm".

 Not sure what Bubby was doing except being himself and Angel girl was very upset that Little Man had the icing!

In the end they also get to break apart the creation in any way they want.  They love this and I don't have to find a place to keep it safe!  Blessed day!

Antiquing in Marion!!!

The family went to Marion today (April 1).  The Boss and the boys went to watch cousin J do a GREAT job at power lifting.  The Boss told Angel Girl and myself to go antiquing.  I had been wanting to go here ever since I saw it on a blog!!  I love that my Angel Girl loves antiquing with me!   I can say I can not wait to go back!!

Mommy bought to much and it wouldn’t fit in the Durango.   Daddy headed home and Grandma came to rescue us.  We did find a beautiful park to wait at and all were happy!!!

Grandma arrived and we ate!!!

The end result … we were PACKED!  Everyone found something (Mommy found lots!) and we were all ready to go home.  But we will be back!!
